TomKat is no more. Katie Holmes, 33, has
filed for divorce from Tom Cruise, who turns 50 Tuesday, her lawyer told People
magazine Friday. While of course it means an end to their romance, it also means
the end of one of the most high-profile celebrity couples, well, ever. No more
couch-jumping. No more serenading. No more public declarations of love. To mourn
the end of Tom and Katie's love story, take a look back at some of their most
memorable moments together.
Last week, Tom Cruise took daughter Suri
and son Connor to an awards ceremony in New York. Meanwhile, Katie Holmes was on
the other side of the planet in Taiwan. The official reason was to promote an
ice skating event.
Now that Holmes filed for divorce on
Friday, according to People, Holmes' Taiwan trip seems more like a warning sign
than anything else.
In recent months, the couple was rarely
photographed together, even when the two were in the same city. Back in New York
this week, Holmes was photographed all over town with Suri, wearing matching
outfits, going to see the movie Brave, eating ice cream, all without
Dad.

The Spice Girls Reunite to Announce Details About Upcoming Musical
It was a Spice Girl reunion in London on
Tuesday when Melanie Brown, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and
Melanie Chisholm came together to drum up interest in "Viva Forever," an
upcoming musical based on the hit songs of the '90s girl group.
The event took place at St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel, where the Spice Girls filmed their music video for "Wannabe" back in 1996. The women looked better than ever as they gathered to talk about "Viva Forever," which will be produced by Judy Craymer, the mastermind behind the ABBA musical, "Mamma Mia!" The show centers around four women whose friendship is put to the test when their band competes on a TV talent-competition show. The musical, which opens this fall, will feature hit songs made famous by the Spice Girls, who sold 75 million records around the world.
"They sing it better than us," Melanie Brown, better known as Scary Spice, told the Associated Press, referring to the cast of the musical.
The Spice Girls formed in 1994 and shot to fame two years later when they released their debut single, "Wannabe." Some of their other hit songs include "Say You'll Be There," "Spice Up Your Life," and "Viva Forever," which was the inspiration for the name of the musical. Halliwell left the group in 1998, and while the remaining four continued to make music together, they called it quits in 2000. This is the first Spice Girls appearance since they all participated in a reunion tour in 2007 and 2008.

Who Had the Best Pop-of-Pink Shadow Look This Week?
When we see pink on the eyes, we
typically see it in faint, shimmery finishes. This week, however, stars amped it
up, opting for vibrant, almost-opaque versions of the classically pretty shade.
Emma Stone wore hers from lids to brows, pairing the punchy look with
coordinating lipstick. Ginnifer Goodwin and Julianne Moore, on the other hand,
opted for a wash of the hue on just the lids. Not sure if this palette will for
you? Try layering your favorite pink-toned blush on the lids to test the
waters.

Emma Stone is a style-setting Jack of all trades
At only 23, Emma Stone is a style-setting
Jack of all trades. She's got impeccable comedic timing, can hang with the guys,
and has the red-carpet styling skills of a seasoned pro. While we first took
notice of Emma as Jonah Hill's high-school crush in Superbad, she's quickly
added to her résumé with standout roles in Easy A, The Help, Crazy, Stupid,
Love, and most recently The Amazing Spider-Man.
To boot, her style and ease on the red carpet has garnered some well-deserved attention from the fashionably minded. Emma's not afraid to go for the wow factor with bold color and embellishments from labels like Lanvin, Jason Wu, and Balenciaga; she knows how to channel her sexier side, opting for a stunning Gucci number at the Paris premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man; and she's mastered the art of sleek minimalism via cool Martin Grant sheaths.
Now, we're taking a closer look at how this blonde-cum-redheaded beauty has emerged stylishly victorious since making her silver screen debut. Click through to see how she makes it all work and don't forget to check out our complete breakdown of Emma's The Amazing Spider-Man premiere looks here.

Tom Cruise was the man of the hour at this evening's Friars Club event
Tom Cruise was the man of the hour at
this evening's Friars Club event at The Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan. Tom was
honored with the Entertainment Icon Award, which has only been given out to
three other stars, including Cary Grant and Frank Sinatra, in the history of the
organization.
Tom had the support of multiple famous pals at tonight's special program, with his Rock of Ages costar Alec Baldwin — who was also the emcee — Cuba Gooding Jr., and Matt Lauer all on hand to witness the show. It looks like his kids Suri and Connor were able to witness the moment since they were spotting leaving their NYC apartment with Tom before the show.
There was one person missing, though: Tom's wife, Katie Holmes. She's currently in Asia promoting Artistry on Ice, with her latest press event taking her to Beijing .

John Mayer "Humiliated" By Taylor Swift's "Dear John" Song
When you break Taylor Swift's heart, you
can bet she's going to write a song about it - and now John Mayer is speaking
out for the first time about the tune she wrote about him.
The "Half Of My Heart" singer says he was "really humiliated" when he heard Taylor's "Dear John" song directed at him, telling the latest issue of Rolling Stone, "It made me feel terrible, because I didn't deserve it. I'm pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do."
Swift and Mayer were rumored to have been an item for a short time while splitting before the country singer released the song on her best-selling 2010 album, "Speak Now", in which she sings out, "Dear John, I see it all, now it was wrong / Don't you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so?"
The single debuted right around the time Mayer went on a two-year hiatus following controversial interviews with Rolling Stone and Playboy and, at the time, Swift said of the song, "There are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints, Everyone will know, so I don't really have to send out emails on this one."
Sitting down with Rolling Stone again, Mayer insists, "I never got an e-mail. I never got a phone call, I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I'd already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you've ever been, someone kicked you even lower?"
When John was asked to explain Taylor's lyrics, he opined, "Don't you think I was too young to be messed with? I don't want to go into that."
In the new Rolling Stone issue - which is set to hit newsstands on Friday - Mayer continued to bash Taylor for her "Dear John" release, stating, "I will say as a songwriter that I think it's kind of cheap songwriting. I know she's the biggest thing in the world, and I'm not trying to sink anybody's ship, but I think it's abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, 'Wait till he gets a load of this!' That's bullshit."

Bobby Brown, Cissy Houston, More of Whitney's Family Cash In
Just months after the superstar's death,
her relatives are using the singer to flog TV appearances, reality shows, and a
tell-all book. They say they want to protect the singer's name—but some just
need the income, says Allison Samuels.
Odds are that no matter the results of the 2012 presidential election, singer Whitney Houston's death will still likely be deemed one of the biggest stories of year. Not only was Houston one of the most dominant superstars of a generation, she also died a rather tragic and untimely death. Those dynamics make the story of her life and passing even more fascinating to the masses.
Still, her demise following a long battle with drugs won't be the only disturbing event remembered by fans and admirers of the singer. The actions and reactions from her family, ex-husband, and former cohorts in the aftermath of her death will surely go down in infamy as well.
From the interview with Oprah on the OWN network that showcased Houston's beloved only child Bobbi Kristina speaking for the first time, to ex-husband Bobby Brown's appearance on The Today Show, relatives of the late singer have wasted little time in their attempt to put the "real story" of Whitney all out there for the world to see. Unfortunately each version of the "real Whitney" appears to be tainted with inconsistencies and half-truths. Pat Houston, the singer’s sister-in-law and manager, told Oprah Winfrey the star was completely drug-free shortly before she died. Toxicology reports and the fact that she was doing handstands at the hotel pool indicated the opposite.
Bobby Brown, Houston's ex-husband, told Matt Lauer on Today that he'd never done hard drugs until he met Whitney—apparently suggesting New Jersey-born superstar was the one who led him astray in the land of mischief and mayhem. Many close to Brown beg to differ.

Tyler Perry Defends Bobbi Kristina: "Leave This Baby Alone!"
After rumors started swirling this
morning (May 30) that Bobbi Kristina Brown walked off the set of her latest
show, the series creator Tyler Perry jumped to her defense.
In a report put out by Radar online on Wednesday, sources claimed that Whitney Houston's daughter quit the TBS comedy "For Better or Worse" a few weeks ago because she was still dealing with her mother's death.
However, after getting word of the rumor, Perry took it upon himself to set the record straight in a blog post reading, "NOT TRUE AT ALL PEOPLE!!! There is no way that she could have walked off the set because we have finished taping the season."
In the lengthy comment, the comedian also explains that he wrote Miss Kristina into his show after spending "a long time talking about her goals and dreams" to act.
The actor-director-producer explained that he thought this would be good for the 19-year-old, penning, "I thought that there would be no better way for me to help her move through the grieving than by giving her something to focus on. The one thing that I learned after my mother’s death is that you have to keep busy and you have to be around people who you can trust, so that when you do grieve you can do it in the safety and privacy of people that care."
After confirming that there were tough days on set for the actress due to her recent loss, Tyler says she still did what she came there to do explaining, "she managed to finish her obligation and did a great job at the same time."
