Finding trustworthy mates is a difficult
task for many, but when you're a megastar like Robert Pattinson it becomes an
even larger challenge.
Just days before news broke about his
girlfriend Kristen Stewart's affair with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director
Rupert Sanders, the 26-year-old actor sat down for a candid interview about the
difficulties that accompany stardom.
Technology plays a major role in the
invasion of celebrity privacy and the "Twilight" superstar said, "I wish this
(Twilight) had happened 12 years ago, before camera phones and website TMZ.
Then it would have been amazing," adding, "being a successful actor... if you
just had the good side of fame it would have been unbelievable."
Robert went on to explain, "Now actors
are the most conservative people in the world because you can't do anything.
Literally, you can't do anything at all. You can't trust anyone because it all
becomes part of your career."
Since his 22-year-old lady cheated,
Pattinson has yet to face the media. That is about to change as premieres and
promotions for his upcoming films are quickly approaching.
